Comfort Suites Denver International Airport

One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in thus far. Great experience from check-in to check-out. Everyone was friendly. We were in room 312 with a view of the mountains and a spa tub. The hotel didn’t stink! Everything was clean, the room was spacious. We were there for a visit to Denver Colorado for the first time and enjoyed it. The only con: Be careful of the elevator, it apparently don’t have a safety opening sensor so it closed rather quickly on my husband and knocked his belongings out of his hand before he could move into it quick enough. Other than that 10/10 overall experience!!

This location has become an illegal immigrant way station. Rough dudes with bad attitudes are hanging out in the parking lot at all hours. The free breakfast is now a box breakfast handed out from behind the counter while the immigrants are having seminars on how to receive benefits in the original breakfast area. The printer is always broken and you will have to email a front desk person to get a print out if needed. Immigrants who were not lucky enough to get in the block of rooms will noisily go through the dumpster in the wee hours of the morning strewing the trash around so do not park in the rear of the hotel. The hotel staff may speak to you in Spanish first before realizing you are not one of the special guests. This hotel used to be a nice place to stay at a reasonable price, it no longer is. The fire alarm was tripped around 22:00, don't know if that is a common occurrence.

Only 1 star because unable to give a zero. Chose to stay here as we had 7 and 10 months ago due to needing a shuttle to the airport. We arrived around 6/7 on a Saturday evening to a parking lot full of loiterers. Then to park to have a young man taping on our window door asking for things. My husband decided to go in and see what was going on. He found a lobby full of refugees and areas that were boarded off with curtains along with very young girls half dressed and drugged or drunk. He was told my the front desk that this was a private party. Tell me what private party strings to the main road in front of the hotel and throughout an entire lobby? He then proceeded to ask for a refund. The lady at the front was more than rude and ridiculous. She told him to leave and threatened to call the cops on him after confronting that she was lying about the entire situation. We were given a refund by another lady working that did not say one word. Shame on you comfort suites for what you are doing! We then proceeded down the road to another hotel and will now make this our new place to stay when in town. There are plenty of other options that we are more than happy to use and gladly. The fact that this establishment encourages and promotes this is unacceptable. I urge anyone approaching this place to continue your drive as your safety and well being would be endangered especially if you have young kids.

I would not recommend staying here. The pool is being used as a storage room, the prices change from staff member to staff member for the little store near the check in desk. The free breakfast sucks. It’s loud and trash is everywhere. This hotel is hosting immigrants which they get better food then those of us who are paying to stay here. Unfortunately I’m here for another week. I have small children and it’s uncomfortable. Being asked for money every 5 seconds. Mind you were not vacationing we’re struggling Americans. So disappointed I’ll never stay here
